How Credits Work
One Balance, One Unit
Every action draws from one unified credit balance. Scheduled timestamps cost 1 credit per file, instant timestamps cost 2, and Legal-Grade is a per-batch upgrade.
Packs vs Plans
One-time packs are available to everyone and work well for scheduled timestamps. Verified monthly plans include identity verification and unlock instant timestamps plus Legal-Grade.
Pack Credits vs Included Credits
Pack credits do not expire. Included plan credits refresh each billing cycle, and unused included credits do not roll over.
Overage and Spending Limits
Billing uses included monthly credits first, then any already-owned pack credits, then overage if you enable it. The default monthly spending cap is $0, so there are no surprise bills unless you raise it.

TimeProof uses included monthly credits first, then already-owned pack credits, then overage if you have allowed it. If your spending limit stays at the default $0, instant timestamps and Legal-Grade stop once both included and pack credits are gone until credits refresh or you top up.
Do I need a crypto wallet?
You pay through Stripe, not with crypto. TimeProof handles blockchain activity behind the scenes. Your wallet is used as a login credential through Reown AppKit, not as a trading or payment wallet.
