Terms of Service
Core terms for using the TimeProof public website and product workflows.
Last updated: April 25, 2026
1. Acceptance and Service Scope
By using TimeProof, you agree to the terms governing the public site and the timestamping services connected to it. TimeProof provides blockchain-based timestamping and digital-proof workflows, not a guarantee of any particular legal outcome in every jurisdiction.
2. Accounts and Access
Certain product functions require account access, wallet-based authentication, or verification status. You are responsible for securing the credentials and devices used to access your account.
3. Credits and Billing
TimeProof uses a unified credits model. Scheduled timestamps cost 1 credit per file. Instant timestamps cost 2 credits per file for verified monthly-plan users. Legal-Grade is a plan-aware upgrade package, not a separate timestamp type or separate credit bucket.
4. Your Content and Proofs
You retain responsibility for the material you choose to timestamp. A timestamp proves that a specific file fingerprint existed at a certain time; it does not automatically transfer intellectual-property rights or substitute for every form of registration or legal filing.
5. Availability and Liability
TimeProof is provided on an as-available basis. The service is designed for strong technical evidence and independent verification, but TimeProof does not promise uninterrupted availability or universal legal sufficiency for every workflow, dispute, or venue.
6. Changes
TimeProof may update the service, this site, pricing, or these terms over time. Continued use after a material update means you accept the revised terms.
